Privacy & Service Protocols

Effective: Jan 20, 2026 Updated: Feb 20, 2026

1. Zero-Knowledge Principle

Vault Core Architecture

Sentinel Base is designed so that only you have the keys to your data. To maintain this secure environment:

  • We do not store your Master Password.
  • We do not store your encryption keys.
  • We cannot reset your password or access your vault.

2. Information Collection

Sentinel Vault (Identity Registry)

To facilitate account creation and secure multi-device syncing, we store minimal metadata:

  • Email Address: Used as your unique account identifier.
  • Authentication Proof: A cryptographically hashed version of your Master Password (via Argon2id). We verify you without ever seeing your password.
  • Vault Blob: Your encrypted data, which appears as random noise to our servers.

3. Sentinel Dhikr Privacy Policy

Quran App Protocols

Spiritual Privacy Guarantee

Your worship is private. Sentinel Dhikr operates on a Strictly Local-First basis. Unlike the Vault, this application does not sync any usage data, reading habits, or tracking metrics to our servers.

  • Local Bookmarks & Progress Reading history, Hifz (memorization) mode progress, and bookmarks are stored exclusively in your device's browser (IndexedDB). If you clear your browser cache, this data will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by us.
  • Zero Analytics We do not use tracking cookies, Google Analytics, or any behavioral tracking software within Sentinel Dhikr.
  • Content Integrity We utilize verified open-source datasets for Quranic text (Uthmani/IndoPak). We do not modify the sacred text. Users are encouraged to report any display anomalies immediately.

4. Storage & Security

Local Storage

Browser IndexedDB for offline-first performance across all apps (Vault, Dhikr, Planner).

Cloud Storage

Encrypted replication to secure DB nodes protected via TLS (SSL). (Vault Only)

We utilize Argon2id with per-user salting for key derivation to ensure maximum resistance against GPU brute-force attacks.

5. Rights & Liability

GDPR/CCPA: You have the right to access your registry (Email/Vault ID) or delete your account at any time. Warning: Deletion is permanent and unrecoverable.

Limitation of Liability: Sentinel Base is provided "AS IS". The developer is not responsible for data loss due to hardware failure, forgotten passwords, or unauthorized device access.

Terms & Conditions

Service Agreement

1. Acceptance of Service

By deploying a Sentinel Base application (Vault, Dhikr, or Planner), you agree to these terms. This is a "Local-First" ecosystem; you are the sole administrator of your security environment.

2. Limitation of Liability (The "Math" Clause)

NO RECOVERY: You acknowledge that because Sentinel Base is zero-knowledge, the loss of a Master Password results in permanent data loss. The developer shall not be liable for any damages resulting from such loss.
